Tyler Thompson is from Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
He has been fly fishing since he was 9 years old and tying flies for 15 years. He has always been fascinated by Atlantic Salmon fishing.
Although he started tying primarily for trout he quickly became interested in hairwing Atlantic Salmon Flies and eventually transitioned into tying traditional, Victorian era flies. He tied his first classic salmon fly in 2020 and have become completely obsessed.
