Before manufacturing moved to Asia, these hooks were forged in Oslo using high-carbon Norwegian wire. This specific box dates to the 1950s/60s and contains the "Viking" quality hooks known for their durability and holding power.

Unlike modern versions, these vintage hooks feature a Tapered Eye—where the wire is thinned at the eyelet—reducing bulk and allowing for a smaller, neater thread head on your flies.
