IMG-1Fly Tyers Dungeon — New entry — image 1 Hook photographed with the size #10 CEC SE75 packet, side view on grid paper. The pairing rests on file naming (I); the grid unit is not stated.

How to identify it

The packet label identifies the documented example. It carries an arched mountain-peak logo over the letters FTD, a script Fly Tyers Dungeon wordmark, and the line CEC SE75 Hook above the size and the maker’s web address P.

The photographed hook shows no legible maker’s mark, so an unpackaged hook cannot be attributed to this model from marks alone I.

OBS-2
PointStandard / Spear
Show noteHide note

One short cut barb rises from the upper side of the point section, its tip pointing back toward the bend. The barb is intact. P

OBS-7
Finishuncertain
Show noteHide note

Dark gray-black glossy finish with bright silver-gray highlights along the curves, even in appearance. The coating type is not identified. P

OBS-6IMG-2

On the photographed hook, the shank bows in one continuous upward arc. Wire thickness looks even in side view, with no kinks or knurling; the cross-section cannot be seen from this angle P.

The point tapers to a sharp tip aimed back along the shank axis, angled slightly toward the shank. The wire widens and flattens behind the point, with fine grind or file marks on the underside P.

A few faint marks lie on the outer face of the upper-left bend and near the lower-left bend. They may be stamping or surface texture and cannot be read P.

Compared with the other hooks in the reference catalog, the wire proportion falls in the extra-heavy group E.
